Operating Policy

In seeking to achieve the commercial objectives of the Company, the Directors and Management of Swire Pacific Offshore recognize that the nature of the business has the potential to cause injury to personnel, damage to property and harm to the environment.

  The Company is committed to conducting business in a manner which:-
Maintains the highest standards of business ethics
Ensures the safety and well-being of all employees, clients’ personnel and others with whom the company has contact
Avoids damage to property and protects the environment from harm
Provides a high quality service to clients
   
  The objectives of this policy will be met by:
Complying fully with the documented requirements of the international Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships and for Pollution Prevention, the “ISM Code”, onboard Company ships and in its offices
Continually striving to improve safety and quality performance
Adopting customised software applications which will be able to handle the Company’s industry-specific needs, particularly the reporting requirements from widely dispersed revenue units back to operational control centres
Complying with mandatory rules and regulations in force
Ensuring that applicable codes, guidelines and standards recommended by the IMO, Flag Administration, Classification Societies and maritime industry organizations are taken into account.

This Operating Policy is supported by other specific policies and procedures wherever necessary.
