The P-Class offers excellent value to customers because of its fuel efficient design. As with the majority of the fleet, these vessels are equipped with a high specification Rauma Brattvaag winch system and they can be upgraded to DP 1 vessels with minimal modifications, an option which has been carried out on 3 of the vessels at the request of the charterers.

These lower horsepower offshore vessels have been a success wherever they have worked – from the Arabian Gulf to Australia and West Africa – because they offer the versatility to carry out a huge range of tasks, from supporting ROV spreads to FPSO positioning. A further 8 vessels of similar size and specification (but of IMT957 design) will also be ordered in 2008, for delivery in 2010 and 2011.
