The W-Class is ideal for all round semi-submersible rig support. The Class has significant power and winch capability to heave anchors and tow rigs while offering sizeable back - deck and under - deck cargo storage capacity.

These Norwegian designed UT710 vessels are renowned for their reliability and excellent station keeping in rough weather. The Class is equipped with Dynamic Positioning (DP 1 or DP 2), and all vessels are fitted with a powerful 300-tonne Rauma Brattvaag winch. As a result, they are able to handle both conventional and synthetic mooring systems in deep water.

This Class has worked throughout the world in a wide range of challenging roles supporting semi-submersible rigs, offshore installations, and pipelay construction barges from New Zealand to the North Sea and from the Caspian to Vietnam.
